D-pillar cable routes. Anyone currently have a bare internal van?

...clip as a bonus! I have a fully converted and carpeted van (one piece, so no easily removable ply panels) and I’m trying to investigate cable routes for a rear camera. I’ve searched and read most d/pillar references in the forum on cameras and I’m happy it can be done. Threads on barn door...

I’ve messed up - Inverter Install

If you are planning a route for the cable, spec the exact cable required and check the bend radius - anything approximating a right angle might be a challenge with the kind of sizes we’re talking about here.

My full electrics upgrade project with a long inverter cable run

Next I had to start looking at the seat base itself. I made some slight modifications to the base to allow more room for the cables to come up into the seat base and also made some hole in the side which is where the 2 50mm2 cables are going to be routed to the back of the van for the inverter...

    Ecoflow Alternator Charger 800W

Routed from inside the van via the top of the passenger wheel arch breach in the fire wall. It comes out to the rear of the battery compartment. Red to battery, black to the head light bracket with a little scraping to ensure a good earth. Inside I routed the cable under the dash behind the...

    New Van Electrics layout WIP

When you come to the installation, I would earth to the nearest earth point on the van, rather than route everything back with cable to an earth busbar. Less cable needed, and less voltage drop. For example, if your diesel heater is under drivers footwell, there is an earth point right next to it.

    Ecoflow Alternator Charger 800W

Can you show a picture of how you earthed it please, as I presume like most of the ecoflow videos it not a good idea to use the negative battery terminal to fix the earth cable (black) once routed?

Hi all, I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to get some cables from my Clayton LPS which I think I'm fitting under the RIB bed next to the kitchen, to the opposite (near) side.
