You only get 90 days in one country I believe, but you reset the clock by nipping over the border for a day/night.
More than 180 days can make you liable for tax, registration etc., but Spain and Portugal and Greece are also warm!
When I bought mine 3yrs ago there were hardly any articles about the CXEB being problematic, only about the 180 biturbos and their egr cooler problems...
I'd still be worried with the 6.1 biturbo engines that at some point new problems might arise!

Can someone confirm the tensioner torque settings please, I have found 50NM and 180 deg and 90 deg.
I assume they changed it and I should use this latest 180.

...better luck on Ebay - most people on the forum replace them.
On paper they would cost quite a lot to buy new however reality is few people want them. I got £80 for mine in silver (so no trims) for all 4.
Ditto H4 headlights £180-£200 each new and lots are given away free on the forum.

The topmost layer that was delaminated I managed to peel off today, it looks as good as new now!
Unfortunately thanks to Brexit we are limited to 90 days in 180, in Europe. Always aim to be back in UK by 86-87 days in case of any hold ups as it is not a “slap on the wrist “ if you over stay.
I received a replacement 6 months ago for a similarly delaminating Photonic Universe 180 watt flexible panel. Get in quickly under warranty! I was advised to peel the top layer off by PU, shouldn't be an issue unless you drive through low hanging branches on a regular basis. My panel worked...
I mean rotation wise. I just rotated the motor body 180 degrees , keeping the brushes etc static , and now it spins the correct way.
Unfortunately the combustion fan took a beating when it was sucking all the hot gasses, but it's still in one piece! Just a bit charred.
