Sorry to hijack this thread, but have you ever made storage like this for behind the third row bench? I have a T6 Kombi that I had the third row bench fitted and have drawn a blank in my quest to find an adequate storage unit.

This T6 has had no expense spared and it’s only covered 14354 miles since new, me being the first keeper. Will add the odd mile as I like to get the engine up to temperature so that the brakes don’t seize. Full service history and has been...
Currently selling our van and whilst we have had lots of interest we haven't quite got anyone committing to purchasing it (still for sale if anyone is interested and open to offers ;)) :For Sale - 2015 T6 T28 Family Kombi Camper 140bhp
Whilst we might still sell the van with the kit, thought I...
Ours usually lives in our Kombi (no poptop) with valves open. After a few uses it now stays at max thickness, but soft, if left with valves open. If I squeeze it to roll it up it only takes a few minutes to return to inflated thickness. If I need it rolled really tight for storage at home I...
Sadly i no longer have my T6, so i'm having a clear out. Any questions reply to this thread or send me a DM,

Plans for the rear
As the van is not a campervan, it is used as my daily driver, for transporting bicycles when we go for bike rides and somewhere to have a cuppa, eat a picnic, get changed and chill out, I have been thinking about what I want to do in the back….
Of the 3 different furniture...
Some indicators for my little bay window project …
Some Plastidip black spray for the chrome bits on my T6 grille…
Some 6x9s for the rear speakers which will be installed in my Kombi bench storage box…
Black side bars…
With a heavy heart I am now offering my beloved T5 Camper for sale. It has been my pride and joy for more than 10 years and enabled many adventures and great trips. However due to the new Low Emission Zone created in Edinburgh I have to let it go.
It is possibly one of the quickest and most fun...

Fitted these - two on the front of my Kombistorage box facing forward under the bench and two facing rearward into the load area. Connected them to the same ignition live that I’m trickle charging the AllPowers battery bank with. I’m going full on red for my interior ambient lighting (still got...
Ignore electric totally and just get a decent insulated coolbox (and then you don’t need to pay for EHU either!).
A decent one (still cheaper than an electric fridge/cookbox I would imagine) will keep stuff cold for the weekend - especially if topped up with ice…
I use a Yeti one - and we...
that’s not a bad shout Paynewright
would you take in pieces and bolt together on site?
i was wondering about using a few of those heavy duty trunks somehow - would also provide a decent amount of storage and could be dropped down into awning during the day - could this work, does anyone think?
Yes, they sound good. I am getting on abit and am no audiophile but do like music to be loud and sound decent.
They are running off the standard head unit via CarPlay and I have the rear speakers enabled and these are a pair of 6x9 under the rear Kombi bench in a custom speaker/storage box...
I would always go for crates. I have an infinity custom bed which I use as a platform to support the crates and provides useful storage underneath. If you don't need the second row of seats, the platform will extend over them and you should get fair size crated in - mine are 4 x 30" crates. I...
