Have you tried directing the a/c to the side vents until it warms up? You could have cold a/c air cooling the windscreen thats trying to heat up. Condensation is always going to take longer to evaporate, you can get dehumidifier’s that sit on the dashboard, might be worth a try?
...son took a look and said try it that way (I was sure it would not fit) and was going to send back and expletives.
Good luck maybe try windscreen first, then Velcro sides and see if fits outside (oh and make sure the windscreen bit is up the right way) - frustrating if they sent the wrong...
...is pretty much the 2nd darkest colour behind black.
Mine is black, and with it parked pointing south, this week with the hot weather it's hit 44, 45 degrees inside.
A windscreen cover is meant to make a big difference as it cuts out the 'greenhouse' effect of the windscreen and front windows.

...yourself some Glaco. Won't need wipers above 45mph. But if you do use them, it's Bosch twin aero here as well.
SOFT99 Glaco Glass Compound Roll On + Ultra Glaco - Abrasive Glass Cleaner and Extreme Durability Glass Coating - 12 Months of Windscreen Protection - Integrated Applicators...

If you've got access to an electric polisher...
I replaced our flexible panel like for like. Found a longish flexible bread knife was the best thing for getting old panel off, not easy but worked better than the windscreen cheese wire method.
Bumper on my old T5 suffered and had a bonnet deflector on which did stop me getting cracked windscreens but on the new van would spoil the clean lines
Confirmed for Crafter.
The same thing, open your bonnet/hood.
