Inside - I stuck mine directly to the glass and I expect it will rip/deform if removed. In hindsight I should have used an old style tax disc holder to make it removeable should I ever need a new windscreen.

Got *exactly* the same issue after a windscreen replacement - "camera out of position", local VW centre saying to fit an official VW windscreen and "try-again" with the calibration.. they did the dynamic drive-by and no luck, they also reset the base settings and tried again with no luck as well...

Give your windscreen a really good clean - that should help with the judder. Then new wipers as advised above. A wiper may look ok, but they do wear and collect a lot of tiny bits.

Well not me. Some complete tosser in a bmw. Couldn’t wait to pass me even though I’d already indicated and pulled over. He tore past me cut me up threw up a stone and cracked my new windscreen :mad: It’s bigger than a 5p so that’s another new windscreen. £65 excess. W@nker.

I put a windscreen cover on our car Wednesday night and Thursday morning we needed the car I took the screen cover off and the screen was free of frost but inside the car the screen was iced up.

Wow, I’m surprised at that power consumption. At least it does a good job defrosting. I know the windscreen is powered in two halves that why you get a thin line in the centre before it fully defrosts.

I have a 6.1 and heated windscreen but not sure what you mean by "windscreen button on screen display" I have OBD11 with a subscription so I can have a poke to see if I can find anything if I know what I'm looking for.

Anyone get a knocking/ slap noise from the blade edge hitting the windscreen edge?

I had exactly this on my 2022 6.1 a couple of weeks ago in really cold weather with thick frost on the door. By the time I’d warmed up the van and cleared the windscreen, with a few superstitious lock/unlock it did finally close.

Just had a Ripe online quote of £279 inc. Euro,Legal and £2500 windscreen upgrade, that's about half my normal premium, any expediences????

I have a Webasto heater. I can trigger it from indoors and it runs for 30 mins. Biggest issue is remembering to fire it up on wintery mornings to defrost the windows. I hope Santa brings me a heated windscreen!!!
