I have a Webasto heater. I can trigger it from indoors and it runs for 30 mins. Biggest issue is remembering to fire it up on wintery mornings to defrost the windows.
I hope Santa brings me a heated windscreen!!!
Ordered wind deflectors today, and I am also thinking about ordering the mega van mat set. Need a windscreen cover for frost too (maybe with a set of step ladders so I can put it on).
The dial on my heater has just broken. It’s a startline so non ac.
It’s the right hand dial that lets you select windscreen, feet, vents etc.
It went stiff to use then jammed up and started clicking. Now doesn’t turn.
Any ideas as to what bit I’ve broken and need to replace?
Thanks
I did wonder about that. I suppose it may be counter productive blasting cold air onto a heated screen  Having never had a heated windscreen before, I was interested to know how others use them. As I said, the manual is as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Good evening. Finally had my standard windscreen eplaced with a heated windscreen but it doesn't seem to be working. The button on the dash illuminates amber for a few mins then goes off. The guy who fitted the screen did mention that there was a wire he didn't know what to do with on one side...
I use Waze on my my phone and have it mounted to the windscreen. Would love a new head unit, but the van is currently sucking up my money in other departments
...I wouldn't recommend them. They hold a lot of water. And the suction cups on the bottom edge keep coming off the doors.
Also very tight across the top of the windscreen - as if it needs to be just an inch wider.
But very effective insulation, totally eliminates condensation on the windscreen.
