    Using a NOCO jump starter

That's a shame Pete. And supprising? I've started a T6 with a dead flat battery..... Used overide mode and turned the start key asap so as not to loose to much pack power into the starter battery.

Renogy 50ah lithium battery not accepting a charge

FWIW. . . I've had the same situation. i had a 12v lifpo4 that we took camping. . . and left all the 12v stuff running all weekend. i forgot about it and it run flat and cut out. . . no problem at this stage as the BMS would have allowed a charge. but i come home and unpacked and forgot...

Lithium LifePo4 12v Batteries - Time For An Upgrade?

This may be a daft question, but is there any good reason not to replace the main vehicle battery with a Lifepo4 type? I’m swapping vans, and have previously fitted a 100ah Regony with 20a DC-DC under the passenger single swivel. It’s a game changer in terms of my use case of fridge/diesel...

    [Guide] Mobile Solar Panels ? . . . - How I Did It -

yeh, the Bluetti AC200max i had, (now sold.) - that had twin DC MPPT inputs. so i did have solar string and 12v dc CAR charging. . . but it had the issues of loosing 1% soc per hour. - 24% per day. - 4x days just sitting there and it was flat. that wasnt good. you needed a fair amount...

    I think I've messed up!

I used a flat blade screwdriver that had a magnetic tip to ruffle the filings out of the mesh and it seemed to stick to the end of the screwdriver. Also, I did make this discovery while I was changing the Sump gasket and oil cooler, so I did swap out the oil and filter for fresh anyway. I also...

    MTB rack/stand

Those Bikestows are very good, I had a look at one recently. They are expensive but very nicely made, flat pack in seconds for storage etc.

    240v Inverter vs Warranty.

Yes it will run all that.... A noco jump pack is only for jump starting a flat battery. It's the recharge you need to consider.... Recharge when driving is limited to 8A ( or 8Ah)... So how long is you drive daily? If the drive is too short you can always take it out and recharge at home...

    CandyVan conversion journey

...in the cellar, and after the delivery of a Tambourline oak veneer door I have my wardrobe built. Weeks of fiddling and scribing and all the flat pack is made and assembled. 30 minutes later it’s finally in the van. I’ve cut up a 125mm duct which fits around the spiral, so I don’t get...

    What Have You Bought Today?

...if you look at the tape on the box it’ll give you a clue. Or I can just tell you it’s the kitchen from Built Creations. They send it out flat packed and cushion wrapped to prevent any damage. The courier will then come back for the crate so they can use again. I can highly recommend them if...

I had to search for this big time when I needed them, anyways check pic these then connect to your foot then you will need the plates to go into your Reimo track, if you got access to ss flat bar, measure and drill to suit this adaptor, with I think 6mm Allen bolts I moaned at the supplier as he...

    Clayton power units

i can take a look at it if you can get it to me. . . ( the normal issue I've seen with these is PPL let them go too flat, so the BMS blocks any charge - the install guide clearly states to charge them every month or so, and not to let them run flat) another option - buy mine...

Lithium LifePo4 12v Batteries - Time For An Upgrade?

Because the charging system on the vehicle is designed for lead acid batteries & won’t charge the Lithium correctly. It’ll come eventually.

What options do we have for charging Power station?

the only draw back with these portable power packs is the slow recharge rate from 12v. . . all are limited to the 100w / 8A input limiter, as above this the 12v plug socket will melt.. . . . in a nutshell they can take longer to charge than drain down - so net effect is they run flat over the...

    CandyVan conversion journey

Any issues raising the floor that amount? eg with side step, or rear threshold? Looks like 34mm raise from top of van floor ribs? (9mm insul + 18mm ply/xps + 5mm ply + 2mm altro ?) And how did you support the narrow slither of floor inbetween the left hand reimo rail and the side step? I'm...

Powering a camper from a power pack without a leisure battery?

Ok but my point is unless there is a time in the day where the EFD2 is fully charged you don't need the Roamer. In slower charging power packs then a storage battery that can charge faster off solar than the power pack and then slowly trickle charge makes sense. However your EFD2 can happily...

How easy is it to install a flat pack kit?

How easy are these kits to install? I presume I would need to build in a solid floor.? The kit itself looks very way to assemble, but what about fitting to the van? Would it be just brackets to the side frame and floor? https://kitlinedesign.com/coastline-kit/
