Hi all I’m also thinking about remapping the 102 to 140/150 has anyone had any dealings with VIEZU remaps the guy doing its has untold amounts of excellent reviews.
Would be good tho know if anyone else has had this?
I have normally always been able to get around 33 to 35 miles per gallon in my remapped 102 T6 we recently travelled fully loaded from the North East down to Norfolk and back and up until the last 20 mile of the journey it was without problem. However, the last 20 mile saw us getting engine...
Pendle remapped my 102 when it was on 10k and still in warrenty!
3 years later 70k and all is fine,
I even had warrenty work done after the remap was carried out.
Vw didn’t even comment on it
Is it possible to map out the egr and leave the pdf in place ? I have a pendle remap in my 2017 102 it drives really well ,however the egr is a pain after 6 flushes and a new egr in May
im looking for a solution after the eml came on with the egr fault code again
What about the 102 engine? Like the idea of it pulling better up long hills when loaded but I’m no boy racer so not bothered by improved acceleration and there is no way in hell I want to do my DMF again (or have any other issues mechanically due to a remap) - is it safe on that engine? What’s...
Am I correct in thinking that the 84/102/140bhp - Euro 5 ( 5 speed ) vans all have the same engine & turbo but have different maps ?
Im planning on getting our 102remapped at Pendle performance & from what I've read it seens that the 5 speed gearbox is the weakest link but I presume pendle's...
I picked up my new T6 102 van yesterday morning and love the wagon already, though it was as Chris perfectly described "gutless" when trying to overtake or accelerate on the motorway. This was evident in my first 130 miles down from the dealer in the North East. @Dav-Tec Chesterfield was handily...
Yes it is a 5-speed and is definitely more relaxed. I did not request a big jump in bhp that was the outcome from data logging. Chris will take you through a short 'before' data logging drive and the exact same 'after' to compare results and make any minor tweaks. It will alleviate the...
Is it possible to go swamper on 17’s and retain the correct rolling radius?
I have 18” sportlines and considering the change to either swamper look or going 20”.
I would like to keep the speedo and gearing as near as possible to standard.
(102remapped to 150 with 5sp manual box)
Cheers
Just a short post to pass on my thanks to Chris for his EGR and Adblue solution which he applied to my 2018 van last week. I’ve had trouble with both since new and VW never quite got it sorted. I’ve kept an eye on the forum for 5 years of problems folk were having and then my turn came for the...
102 5 speed vehicles are much better mapped. We do the whole lot in one go for no extra cost. @T6ARF has an EU6 engined 102 T6 did his earlier in the week no issues. It's down to how it's mapped below is data log result from before and after we mapped the van. Van previously had a map on there...
Exactly what @Steve1978 said - my EU6 102 is so much quieter now; it just feels and drives like a much better van!
I (accidentally...) agreed to a remap when my - inevitable - EGR issue was being sorted, after repeatedly talking myself out of doing it. Now kicking myself for waiting...
running same engine (102 bhp) with the same remap (170 bhp - done 2 weeks ago, by Pendle Performance HQ as I do live locally), fully converted camper, 20 inch wheels. Can't tell you tank distance but MPG went from 32 to 36... driving is so much smoother and responsive when pulling away and or...
