Hi
I’m in the process of replacing my twin passengerseat with a single (and awaiting Audi Q8 seats to go in) .
While I’m at this stage I bought a single passengerseat base with a battery tray to have in mind a second leisure battery and to (eventually daisy chain between with the one under...
I have just discovered there is a factory earthing point under the the passengerseat (& possibly one under the drivers, I haven't looked yet).
This may seem like a dumb question but would it be safe to attach the Neutral Cable of my Bluetti Charger 1 to this point ? rather than having to hunt...
Hello
I am planning on running the EHU cable and the B-2-B cable from the engine bay through the grommet in the bulkhead. I would then like to use the cable run that is on the left hand side of the drivers footwell. I have looked at the instructions about lifting the rubber floor and can see...
No specific reason. Mine is under the passengerseat as the pipework for the diesel heater is under my drivers seat. Others may have it the other way due to seat swivels, the fuses under the passengerseat or to reduce the cable length from the starter battery to the DC-DC depending where they...
Hi All,
I've currently got battery and DC to DC charger under drivers seat and looking to install my new 1000w renogy inverter under my single passengerseat. I'm going to have my own cable made up, my question is, I'm concerned about cable route between the 2 seats, how have you guys done...
I’m trying to clear some corrosion faults I. The connectors under the passengers seat.
The conversion people had hidden the connectors, taped up,under the rubber mat but 4/5 pins have corroded and caused a bit of chaos.
I’m gradually getting there but does anyone know what t the connectors do...
Hi Folk,
I’ll shortly be heading down the leisure battery route, to enable diesel heater, lights and additional rear sockets etc.
I see most people mount the battery under the drivers seat.
Is there a main reason for this?
We’ve got a captain seat up front, and I’m looking at the possible...

Hi Folks,
Looking to install a Bluetti Charger 1 or an Ecoflow 800w Charger, I cant decide which one to get, the connection plugs put me off the Ecoflow and I am not even sure if its compatible with my Bluetti AC70 or EB55 which both use XT60 connectors. Anyone got experience with either of...
Hi
I’m wanting to mount the Renogy 1000w inverter under drivers seat, and connect to the 160ah lithium which will be underpassengerseat, Renogy sell a 5ft inverter/battery cable, so just want to confirm this will be ok?
They even sell an 8 ft one so I’m hoping the distance between my swivel...
I see will need to check it when van back from garage unfortunately passengerseat a bit in pieces with wires and I might just connect motors to switches and use that way.
Snakelimit, your seat dont work because you have a memory electrical seat, the passenger are not memory (just 2 cable for make thi run)
But for the driver seat with memory, movement make by a unit control under the seat. Just add the + and - are not correct
you must add the Can connection...
I would say that cable route from the lower dashboard fuse box to under the passengerseat is pretty straight forward though, and would just involve going under the rubber mat, which you can pull up quite easily from the passenger footwell.
I need to get cables from under drivers seat to the o/s rear quarter area - the upper half between C and D pillars. I can get to the bottom half from the O/S passenger panel then via the C pillar. There is then no route up into the upper area I need.
Do I have to go right the way back, into...
Ok so im looking to replace the CU i have under my passengerseat with a smaller one under the bonnet, currently i have a single mains cable running from under the bonnet into the van and to the consumer unit where i have a MCB and 2 RCDs one for the battery charger and one for the single socket...
Apologies for resurrecting an earlier thread but in case anyone is pondering the same question, I found that disconnecting the red cable (labelled 2 and second from the left in @Jamesie ’s picture above) on the top of the starter battery isolates the power to the VW split charge relay under the...
I'm planning to route the cables under the rubber foam matting just where it meets the plywood floor as it gets thinner here and it simply flaps back quite easily. There's enough space to route the cables and no worries about heat issues really. I would not bother going under the van outside...
Looking to install the alpine sub and amp under the driver seat in my T6.1.
There is a fuse block under the passengerseat where the heated seatcable goes and it looks like there are some spare female connectors on the plug. Does anyone know if this can be used to power the amp or does it need...
I have a 6 way 12v fusebox under my passengerseat. I would like to run a 40amp cable to the back of the van to run a few simple lights and a water pump (5amp). Can I run this from my one remaining point on the fusebox with a large fuse to secondary 4 way fusebox?
Thanks
