Similar to a previous post, my airbag light is on after removing most of my dash trim yesterday looking for an amplifier. The only electrics I disconnected was the cable to the light in the lower glove box on the comfort dash. I did move both driver & passengerseats a little from their swivel...
Both, the cable is plenty long to reach to a table outside the van, next to the sliding door. My inverter is under my passengerseat so next to the door too.
Not sure what colour wires you have in your connector. Can you post a pic.
I fit lots of VAG MQB seats into vans. And it is just a case of powering the seat with a fused live and an earth.
Pic is an Audi seat, red wire with black trace is power brown earth ( chassis ) 25amp cable with a 20amp...
Nice, much easier than trying to stuff everything in a seat base!!
Have you got all your VE Direct and CAN cables to connect your orion xs, mppt and battery to the cerbo? And ethernet to your router?
My EcoFlow Alternator Charger has arrived!
Very well packaged and well built, a quality feel to the unit and cables. The Cable required to run to the battery is pretty thick to say the least, so will need some careful routing.
Thinking I may site the unit under the passengerseat.
Hope to get...
I went under the passengerseat. Wanted the space under the drivers seat for air out let for heater. I did mount the DC-DC under there though. Dead easy cable run through the bulkhead grommet
Thanks for your feedback guys, I have a 2018 T6, only 1 previous owner from new and he didn't fit a tow bar, nor I. Work done so far... I sound deadened the entire van removing all the front seats etc, installed a LOC to the head unit to provide sound to the amp housed under the passengerseat...
I have had an Alternator Charger and Delta 2 installed in my T6.1 California since September, and it's truly been an awesome experience. I hooked it up to the factory leisure battery under the passengerseat, and occasionally do reverse charging, and everything works wonderfully.
However, I've...
How did you get on with moving the factory electrics from underpassengerseat, where did you reposition them to?
I’m also trying to work out if I can move all my cables etc over to the drivers seat, as the cables seem to come from the direction of the centre of the cab area. But not taken seats...
Nice set up here putting it under the seats. Good to take full advantage of space underpassenger bench seat as well. I reckon I'll be going for the same sort of set up in my T6.
I just have a few questions:
1/ Fuse box for circuits from leisure battery
Are you putting all fuses under the...
The control module would normally interrupt the door signal so you would cut the wire under the passengerseat and join the spare cable to the dash side of the cut
The 18a DC-DC is a little smaller and runs cooler so may fit under the drivers seat. The only way to tell is to remove the seat and lay it all out to see if they will fit. The same with the passengerseat if you need to use under there. The swivel won’t stop you but may limit the height...
In an ideal world I’d put the DC-DC under the passengerseat to minimise the length of the cable runs but ultimately it will be whatever fits where, especially if you are wanting to use existing cables. I can’t remember the detail of your existing cables but swapping out for an 18a DC-DC may...

I have installed this and it’s really straight forward. It’s a great bit of kit. As far as I’m aware your heated seats might have to be sacrificed due to the mechanics of the swivel but the wires hide under your floor mat easily. DM if you have any questions mate. It’s a great bit of...
Both are pretty much used, the factory fit option goes under the passengerseat.
There tends to be more factory electrics under the passengerseat so if the drivers seat is free that can be easier to retro fit, especially if choosing a larger battery.
There are cable routes to both seats from...
