Two questions please. Where does the electrics run from the tow bar socket? I can see it goes into bumper. Does it then join the original loom and run up to the relay under the passenger seat? Is it possible to have a passenger double seat swivel whilst maintaining tow bar electrics?

Hi on a factory fitted towbar does your van have an alert light on the dash or a buzzer to confirm trailer lights are working? I have just had genuine VW wiring kit fitted and there is no provision for a buzzer in the new loom. Or is it a programming thing to get the lights on buzzer to beep...

has everyone gone for the full vw wiring loom for the westfalia or the cheaper option which isn’t coded. What’s the differences please. Had just a standard fixed on my last t5 which wasn’t coded and was fine. Going on a T6 Kombi to pull a caravan. Cheers

I read some where that this label says whether the van is tow bar prepped or not Code 1D7 yes 1D70 no ( or something along those lines ) Mine is different and what is tow bar prepped anyway ? Ready for a kit by any chance ?
