Anyone Regretted Fiamma type awning? Or the opposite!

Hi I don't like the big box, but for a quick shelter from rain or sun they seem easiest/quickest. Anybody had one and regretted it? Thanks Hugh

    Thule Omnistor Fitting kit

I’m looking to fit a Thule Omnistor to my van but I don’t want to drill and fix it permanently, is there a bracket that uses the roof bolt fixings? I want it to be removable. An alternative could be to fix it to the VW roof bars? Any links or tips welcomed.

    Omnistor awning fitting

Just bought a Omistor awning to fit with my California awning rail and SCA roof. I have the Cali brackets and understand the need to alter the rear angle. What is the best way of securing them, ideally without bonding should I decide to remove. Would rivnut fitting be strong enough?

    Awnings????????

Anyone got a view, ie pro's and cons of having an awning fitted.....probably a Fiamma F45? Presumably, this means having bodywork drilled......which makes me nervous?!
