'07 T5 side repeaters

Hi everyone, I want to change the side repeaters on my T5 as they are both cloudy.
I don't want anything fancy just the clear ones. I have ordered two sets and when they arrived they are different to the ones in the van.
The new ones have a large metal tab and they are too small for the aperture. The originals are all plastic. I can take pics when I get home if that helps.
Please help, even if it's to take the micky and tell me I'm doing something wrong.

You got them the right way round ?

My original set we swapped out for some clear ones from a seat ibiza , from memory they were all plastic .

The ones I have now are aftermarket dynamic led (all plastic) and are damn tight in the wing ...soo much so I destroyed the last set trying to remove them.
They also have gone a tad yellow

Thanks for the replies JumpShip, I'll check to see if I'm inserting them right first of all. I've had a look on ebay and the ibiza ones do look identical.

From memory if you insert one end first they don't quite fit (I.e. the clip first or the the barb) but if you insert the other end first they just go in . At least that was my experience with the aftermarket ones .
If that makes sense
