18” wheels but what size tyres?

20 pages of 18" tyre talk in this pinned thread.

You have no arch rub with these when turning at all? I’ve just bought some 18s and trying to work out what tyres to purchase was looking. At the 235/55 and the 255/55 and getting confused!!
I have 235/55 r18 Cooper ATs on my T28, standard suspenders, no rubbage.

Mines an a modified highline so presumably would be the same, has it got spacers or anything
You are presuming that the Caravelle Executive and the highline might be the same? i really could not say I have no idea about the specification of the highline especially if modified. The Caravelle Executive sits on minus -20mm springs I believe. I have no Spacers at all and the wheels are black after-market steel. I seem to recall 8 inch rims. They have a moderate dish i do not recall geometry. It might be possible that a receipt is somewhere the lady of the house, the boss lady usually files things like that away. When I first had them they did not catch at all not even on full lock or off road which is why I have them. Then during a set of storms extremely wet and puddled minor roads and after slowing and missing the majority or slowing to a speed that would not cause damage. I eventually hit one very hard from then on it rubbed because the water splash had dragged at the inner arch it then only rubbed at full lock. After the missing securing screws were replaced their again was no rubbing even under provocation. I can only vouch for my vehicle which is otherwise unmodified though ideally I need to lift it because even though the wheels give additional lift due to increased overall radius I still drag the tow hook on some rough rutted parts of the trackway too my home and I have to take care in other places also. I used to Off Road allot in all sorts of vehicles and want to do some with the Caravelle so it need a lift for clearance from the tracks and the mud and also the water crossings and it would also allow greater clearance between tyre and other close parts such as the inner arch. A snorkel is also needed but that is another story.

My set up is purely for tackling the environment that I live and is necessary especially over the winter months not just because of traction but when wet, ruts actually get deeper due to the land swelling around them and between them. And also because the trackways are steep in places considerable flood water cascades down and changes the topography of the track and axle twisters can become more severe due to washouts. Farm tractors can cause additional problems also, generally making a mess.

What is it that you are after?

Hi mate I run 235/55/18 Michelin x climate 2 on Amarok steels. Work just fine for me. Got a deal via camskill tyres on 5 as I had a brand new spare Amarok steel.
