2 degrees and snowing tomorrow in Skye in July WTF?

Am on our 2 weeks summer holiday in the T6.
We’re currently in Aberlour and planned to head over the Skye tomorrow but just checked the forecast.
It’s currently 2 degrees at the moment there and snow forecast tomorrow then heavy rain and thunderstorms until next week.
It’s July FFS.
This global warming is just terrible.
Although according to the government it’s been the warmest spring ever. We just never noticed because it was hot when we were sleeping.
How stupid do they think we are?

'global warming' is a misnomer. The British isles are kept warmer than nearby mainland Europe by the jet stream/gulf stream. The effects of climate change are very much predicted to affect the jet /gulf stream. It's common that people confuse the terms 'weather' and' climate'. Just think of it that weather will become more extreme as the climate changes.....
