2016 T6 Chrome vw badge replacement

A pheasant destroyed my chrome cow badge but I’m struggling to find the right part which is 7E0853601E. Does anyone know whether I can use part 7E0853601G instead please? Thx

I believe the last letter is just an updated part, so, if the rest is the same then yes.

But hopefully someone else can confirm.
