Hi,

Reluctantly selling my 2017 VW T28 S-Line campervan.

  • 2.0 Diesel engine with ad-blue for extra efficiency
  • Done just under 90k miles although still being used so this will change
  • 5 belted seats, 3 in front and 2 in rear
  • Newly wrapped in black with VW decal
  • 20" black alloy wheels
  • Gas hob, sink, fridge, ,microwave and oil heater
  • Rock'n'roll bed on bottom with additional bed in the pop top
  • Lots of additional storage throughout
  • Additional air awning will be included which offers extra space for longer term camping
  • Also includes a separate canopy ideal for some cover when only locating short term
  • Last serviced in February this year, MOT'd until April 2025
Van is very good condition throughout and happy to send any more pictures or details as required.

Thanks

It's a 1968 CC TDI BMT engine with manual gearbox so hoping that is what you are after but let me know if not.

Van was purchased from Crowther Campers in Gateshead who I believe do the conversions themselves although I'm not 100% on this.

That engine comes with various power outputs, from 86PS through to 204PS. This is the figure @Sackmycook is enquiring about.

I'd say that's top money for a 102 Startline with 90k miles, barn doors, no aircon, bench seat and H4's but GLWS

Van has air con.

I see the bench seat as a positive as been so handy handy having three riding up front and has extra storage within it as well. Also swivels at night to make a dining area if needed so unsure what the negative is here but guess it won't be for everyone.

In terms of pricing, my first time selling a van so I tried using Autotrader (listing prices) and eBay/this forum (selling prices) and pitching where I thought was fair given the recent wrap and general condition of the van/wheels.

Happily listen to offers right enough but I didn't think it was unreasonably priced.

I'd stick aircon in your listing as it's a positive for a sale.
The bench isn't a negative, but they can be uncomfortable on longer journeys compared to a fully reclining single captains.
Not trying to be negative at all, just advising you to be realistic in the current market. Fair enough if you think you are, time will tell
