Hi all, I have been following the Forum for a couple of years initially to buy a van, and get tips for conversion's etc, but only recently joined the forum, as I bought one in June 2020 from Marshalls Scunthorpe dealership. I am now at a point where I am wanting to sell my T6 having spent a lot of time working on it, and had very little use due to my wife being ill.
COLOUR INDIUM GREY.
5 seats, 2 single captain front seats, 2+ 1 arrangement in rear, single sliding door on the nearside, and rear Tailgate rear door.
Bought from Marshalls VW centre on 02/06/2020, pre- registered by the dealership on 29th September 2018 and used by them, had covered 5,500 miles, I am the second owner, now done 15, 956 miles as of 28/10/2022. (which will go up slightly)
Fitted with Comfort dash, which includes glove box etc, and bottle cooler below.
Harrison’s mats fitted front, middle, rear and all door wells.
T6 leatherette style seat/headrest/arm rest covers fitted to all 5 seats, 2 front captain seats, and rear 2+1. Over the original cloth seats.
Started in 2021 to convert to use as a sleeper, April 2021 fitted sound deadening silent coat panels to rear door, side door, and all rear side and roof panels, and rear wheel arches as per pictures.
Also fitted 8mm foil backed Thermo- liner insulation as supplied by Harrisons to roof, rear door, and all rear side panels, except for driver and front passenger door.
July 2021 had work done by West Yorkshire Van centre Huddersfield which includes the following:
Plywood panels fitted to roof, and rear sides.
Dacron Insulation fitted to sides in the rear, (not in roof.)
6 white LED lights fitted in mid/rear section roof panel wired by qualified electrician at van centre.
Update to sound system is 2 rear Nertz speakers fitted to rear sides.
Flame retardant Easy liner carpet fitted to roof in Grey, and all rear panels and mid side panels, wheel arches, and rear door in Anthracite using special heat resistant adhesive.
The Jack Mount has been ground off,( and painted under the capet/sound deadning) and the jack is stored under the seats ina holdall)
Double curtains in Black fitted to rear tailgate window, and to both rear side windows.
Rear carbon bumper protector fitted, (2 minor stone chips as per picture).
Orange front grill middle strip fitted, (original chrome plastic ones can be supplied).
Heiko front side window wind deflectors fitted.
Elasticated magazine racks fitted in rear, + one fitted in second row seating area.
DIY Aluminium bespoke single bed frame, with carpeted plywood top fitted, and 100mm mattress, to sleep one person by folding rear double row seat back downwards. This is not fitted, but sits free-standing in the rear, and can be easily removed.
Almost £2,000 of Extras, (without all the labour for sound deadening, and thermal Insulation).
Bodywork cleaned with low volume pressure washer, and hand washed by me, no auto or hand car wash outfits used, hence paintwork is extremely well looked after.
First Service done by dealer in Marshalls Van centre in Scunthorpe, then as and when service light indicated completed by IVS Independent VW specialist in Huddersfield (as I have done for all VW/Audi vehicles in the last 17 years) all service receipts available.
I paid the VAT when it was purchased by me, Extremely good condition all round, only minor bits as listed below as you would probably expect:
Minor lacquer / paint chips on carbon rear bumper cover, as pictured, Small Slight paint chip (touched in) at bottom of rear tailgate.
Small dent on sliding door which is very hard to tell, and a light scratch mark at top of sliding door probably caused by a branch.
MOT completed in September 2022, and V5 log book and 2 keys. I will attach all spec of van as a PDF, instead of here due to size.
