Smart looking van, I don’t know if u-shape is for me personally, firstly I’d need some belts in the back…are you going for a similar set-up in your new van?

can I ask what sort of electrics set-up you have and whether you have had any major servicing done i.e cam belt and water pump?

Do u find you have ample storage with the u-shape setup?

Not seen any U shaped with belts in the back. Not an issue for us when we bought it as only the 2 of us and the dog. No we are going totally different in the new van due to change of circumstances and now having 2 twin grandaughters to consider when they are older. So going for 3 seat RIB in the new van.

Leisure battery and charger under the drivers seat. Consumer box in with water and gas bottle storage. For the LED spotlights in the roof lining, External LED strip on the canopy and also has warmer lighting over the hob/sink and at the bottom of the seating. Great for chilling out at night.


No cam belt change/water pump yet as not advised till 4 years or 85,000 and at neither of those yet. That would have been done with the next MOT if we were keeping it.

Storage is plenty adequate for us, even with having water and gas bottle on board.

Do you find you have ample storage with the u-shape setup?

I would imagine that there's more storage space with a U-shaped layout than there is with the traditional Rock-n-roll/Rib layout.

Not seen any U shaped with belts in the back.

There were some pics on here the other week of another members van who had belts with a U-shaped layout, so the new owner could have them fitted.
That's a lovely van with the perfect set-up for one or two people, glwts.

There is plenty, and all have front doors to access so don't have to move all the cushions to get to it.
