Hi hivemind and enthusiasts. I am trying to work through an abs error I get intermittently but evermore increasingly. I get the "ping" and the 2 warning lights on the dash - sometimes I get 3 pings and a different tone ping.
Thus far I have replaced the abs sensor for the wheel a fault code reader flagged (I was doing the brakes so just did it anyway without further fault finding at the time. This did not fix the issue so I have just checked the wiring in behind the rear light and this is also fine, so out with the multi-meter and I am a little surprised to find 13v but the value continues to climb slowly (roughly 0.1v every 10 seconds and didn't seem to show a definite stopping point) I checked this at the cable junction and at the abs sensor so despite my random V+ increase I wanted to know if i am pretty safe to assume wiring and sensor are ok and it is likely to be the controller that needs to be sent for repair?
Any thoughts on this are most welcome, and also I would be keen to send of the controller without taking all the brake hoses out and sending the pump also - is this feasible?
cheers
Neil
