Aftermarket addition of Sportline Splitter and Parking Sensors going off….

I’m over the moon with how my van has turned out - added the Sportline front spoiler today.

BUT

My centre (factory) parking sensors are detecting the spoiler, can they be recalibrated or something? The spoiler fits really nice with minimal gap to the sensors, I don’t think much can be done to change that - the spoiler is bonded and bolted on with the mount kit.

I guess the next idea could be to move the sensors outwards or something??

Any info appreciated!

Yes, all lined up. I’ve been on the T6 Facebook forum and it seems it’s a common issue!

I had the same issue, and it still occurs with one of the front sensors intermittently that I need to look at again.

I found the problem to be the spoiler not being high enough up on the bumper, the fix was to raise the mounting clips on the edge of the bumper up from where I initially fitted them. As the bumper curves up, the higher the clips are the closer the spoiler is onto the bumper and therefore the parking sensors protrude more preventing the issue.
