AGM Battery Or Not? Smart Alternator Connection For CTEK

I purchased a Xplorer 110amp battery, mainly because people stated this fits under the drivers seat. Which it does and the reviews and prices from people on here seemed to rate it as a decent battery.

its the 679 battery on this website and im presuming its not AGM. Xplorer Battery - Cheap Xplorer Batteries - Express Next Day Delivery - Alpha Batteries tried a search on here and and google and cant seem to find out. Doesn't state either way on the battery. I just want to make sure as the DC-DC charger needs to be connected differently if it is.

Also which fuse have people connected for the Ctek Smart alternator wire (red wire on Ctek), Ie which fuse is best to use with ignition feed?

That’s a lead acid flooded battery, not agm. Any fuse in the central column upper part of the fuse box will give you ign live.

Cheers @Deaky thought so, just noticed that the fuse box is in center of the van, who put it there!? Looked on left, looked on right, looked under bonnet..... my last VWs (Caddy, T4,) was easier to find!
