Air con only works on setting 4

My air con seems to have an issue. Settings 1 2 and 3 I get no cold air but on setting number 4 it is like an ice box.
Does anyone know why no cold air comes out in the first 3 settings but works fine on 4? it defiantly works on 4 and is ice cold so can't be lack of gas. Thanks.

Likely the fan resistor meaning the fan will only work on position 4.

Yep fan resistor gone....... easy enough fixed and some guides on here.

It’s happened to me twice in the last 5 years on my 66 plate T6. This is the part I bought from Amazon, only £13. The first one lasted 4 years and the most recent one has been in 7 months and working fine. You’ll need a 5.5mm spanner or socket from memory.
