Airbag light on after taking dash trim off?

Similar to a previous post, my airbag light is on after removing most of my dash trim yesterday looking for an amplifier. The only electrics I disconnected was the cable to the light in the lower glove box on the comfort dash. I did move both driver & passenger seats a little from their swivel bases to access the under seat areas but never disconnected anything. I did turn ignition on at one point. Is this enough to trigger the airbag light? Assuming I’ll need to take it somewhere to get it reset? TIA Ian

Its probably the dash end panel by the passenger door that has the airbag deactivation switch in it
If you turn the ignition on with this removed/unplugged it will give you an airbag light that will need to be manually reset

Excellent thanks Pauly, I did have this panel off but can’t recall removing or unplugging anything. I’ll take a look in the morning. Is manual reset self explanatory once I’m in there? Thanks again

You’ll need to reset the fault with VCDS or Carista
