Aircon fitting

Hi all,

I have no Aircon in my van, I have a price from Alpinair to supply and fit. The picture they sent shows the standard controls I have with an AC button, will this work exactly the same as standard aircon but just retain the original cable operated air box?

Is the standard manual aircon temperature controlled or does it just get Blow cold air and get colder and colder the longer it is on?

also looking for a company closer if anyone knows of any I’m located in Salisbury, Wiltshire

That's the first time I've seen a retro fit for a T6. It looks like they use the original cable operated box as they are using the same dials and just fitting an extra switch. Would be interested in the quote you have.

No not yet, been thinking it’s not worth the expense as I do loads of miles and in another year I’ll prob have a new van - so only one summer left to put up with no AC
