Alarm on startup?

I started my 2019 T6 Beach this morning and the alarm chirped. Only a fraction of a second but full alarm. Did not do it on return journey. Is this an indication of the key battery needing changed, maybe the transponder not strong enough. Any ideas?

Hi @Sasquatch, thanks for quick reply. I’ve not heard of the backup battery before. Any idea where it is located?

Edit, just been reading about them. Feel a right idiot not being aware of this.

Not personally. I'd guess in the alarm siren unit like in my Volvo, but one of our slimmer more knowledge members will know more
