After some advice to see if anyone has been in this predicament before, flashing glow plug light came on last week took it to a vw van centre who diagnosed it as intake manifold valve, back and forth since Thursday last week to be told today that vw warranty have declined it based on that carbon has caused the fault.
The dealer has said in the report that it’s not the soot that’s caused the issue and it’s in fact an electrical fault.
What’s the chances of this being overturned, vw have already said no goodwill will be offered. So I’m going to be left with a £1500 bill.
Am I correct in saying that vw have modified the intake manifolds due to failure?
Thanks in advance
