All Lights flicker on Cold and Warm Start

Hi all,

My lights (interior and exterior, LED and non LED) have flickered on the van every time I turn it on whether its warm of cold and on auto stop start for as long as I can remember but for some reason now its starting to get on my nerves haha. So I was wondering if anyone new what my cause it and how to fix it. Some more context below.

The van is a T6.1 2020, Vechile battery voltage usually sits around the 12.6v mark when not driving, it has a full 12v leisure system but it did this before the 12v leisure system was added to it. It happens on all lights on the Vechile, interior roof lights (LED), front and back headlights (non LED), number plate lights (LED). It happens on both warm start and cold start and when using stop start in daily use. Is it just the fact its a big old commercial vehicle or do you think there might be something more sinister going on.

My first thought was alternator or rectifier, but it would proper investigation.

That sounds like struggling to start.

Turning over slower than I would expect.

So what's causing the lights to them is the load on the battery from the starter motor causing a slight volt drop on the 12-volt system causing the lights to dim down a bit.

Have you had the battery tested?

No proper battery test, measured voltage, reading around 12.6v, as I am aware the battery is the OE one so might be worth throwing a new one in
