I've just had a new Alpine Halo 9 professionally fitted in my 2024 T6.1 (couldn't use @Absolut5 as I'm in Belfast).
When I picked it up the fitter told me that they'd had problems getting the factory fitted USB ports (the ones beside the gear selector) to work initially, despite fitting the USB retention kit. Then they realised it was my lead that was (supposedly) the issue. The lead in question is a good quality USB-C to USB-C braided cable that I've been using without issue since I got the van. To demonstrate, the guy plugged in his own iPhone and cable (USB-C to Lightning) and sure enough it picked up the charge straightaway, so I accepted his suggestion that it was my cable that was the problem.
I've since tried three different USB-C to USB-C cables and none of them work with my phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max - so it has USB-C port, not Lightning).
I'll be getting back onto them on Monday but I was wondering if anyone recognised the issue, having perhaps experienced similar?
