As the title suggests, this T6 Caravelle owner was left very underwhelmed with the Dedicated Vw Transporter audio upgrade, he was frustrated with losing the fader feature on the factory headunit, lack of dedicated bass control and the overall sound quality, lacked impact in the low end response and midbass to midrange..
so we stepped in and removed the alpine kit and installed our Signature setup using our own design and manufactured underseat sub enclosure housing the superb 10w1 10” 2 ohm sub along with Audison amp and Hertz speakers,
To our surprise the Hertz tweeters fitted perfectly in the Alpine grills
This setup retains the factory fader function and has a dedicated bass control.
all I can say the customers grin was seen from the other side of the carpark when he was listening to it, and his son how had a great music knowledge was smiling just as much
And all for not a lot more money than the Alpine kit.
