Again, not a fully fledged [GUIDE] as there are lots of ways to personalise this, but here's the steps.
In the doors you can tap off the window switch backlighting (above) and in the lower dash you can tap off the dashboard backlight dimming switch or the headlight switch (below) and any ground. The ambient lighting line is neatly grey-blue everywhere in the van, but note that it's pin 10 you want at the back of the headlight switch, as I discovered by accident: (the thicker wire)
Then it's on to lighting. I've put some EL wire behind the footwell upper trim to cast a dim light on the floor and accent the gear lever console. It runs off a tiny transformer mounted behind the headlight switch and runs right to left across the van:
Pictures always make this appear bright, it's actually barely noticeable so to avoid being a distraction when night driving.

I've got a couple of broad diffused LEDs, one in each door pocket. Here's the door card:
There's one blue led in the top door pocket (seen entering above the speaker grill), one blue led in the bottom door pocket (seen entering below the speaker grill) fed from the door loom.
They are stuck on the inside corner of the pocket facing into the pocket so not seen by passengers, but you want to check your setup works for you. The effect is quite dim, as that's what I wanted - these pictures exaggerate it:
