Any good/bad experience of RIB Neptune Single Seats?

Hi,

I am converting my van at the moment, still in the planning stages. It's a SWB T6.1 LWB just does not fit on the driveway unfortunately; it was SWB or block 40cm of pavement.

Three primary uses, in order of most to least common:

1 - Family of mum, dad and two kids using it as our primary family vehicle and heading out for day trips, picnics etc, as well as long drives through Europe on holidays (sleeping in rented accommodation).

2 - Me on my own, sleeping in the van, with a bike and a fair bit of kit.

3 - Us as family of four camping out for the night.

I am thinking of a setup with two singles, as I can sleep in the pop top and leave my bike downstairs in the walk through area. I also think that my kids would rather have a single bed each than share a double.

I can find very little on the RIB Neptunes. A lot of companies fitting them, but there's only one thread on this forum reviewing them - and that is very negative (RIB 60 3P Neptune rock and roll seat/bed- side/forward slider - Review.). I have seen 'competitors' e.g. leisure drive, but they look a bit like Granny's sofa from the 1980s rather than premium engineering.

So does anyone here have any experience? Would you recommend them?

Thanks!
