Any Ideas - Brackets - Clips

Our van just purchased - ex-rental - in the publicity shots - had then red handled brackets/clips.

It doesn't have them now - just the bolts where they where fitted each side.

Waiting for dealer to get back to us but in the meantime thought I would ask on here.

Any ideas - wrong answers accepted

Is there a bed in the pop top and would they have been used to secure that in the lower position for some reason? Or maybe secure a security net in the opening to stop errant children dropping onto the front seats? Just having a guess.

I'm no expert but they look like fairly large 'off centre' clips (I think they're called that anyway) - is they're a corresponding fitting elsewhere for them to latch onto? Maybe staples on the roof where they were extra safety measures to stop it from opening on the road. A close up might help.

No bed in the pop up - may have been taken out - errand children to hang them up to at night

Nothing in the roof - the brackets things are no longer fitted :-( - but like your thoughts!

The rental company, who also do their own conversions say that these clips were an experiment by them - ease of holding down the pop-up compared to the usual straps - for renters it didn't work out!

I have just bought the straps from quickpop.uk
