Any ideas what hose this is?

I've just noticed this hose hanging off can anyone enlighten me as to what it is ?
VW T6 2016 Trendline.

It's not a hose, it's the exhaust gas temperature sensor by the looks of it

Thats a sensor, if its the same as below it should have a brown connector.

Would suggest its probably a Lambda sensor.

Oh so that could just be still attached and wires protected by rubber pipe

Yeah, if you push the protection down you'll see the wire inside
