A scrub with a sanding pad should be enough, then prime and paint

Not sure what to do with the parking sensor holes - just had a quick google and they aren’t expensive to buy sensors

Cheers mate....seems a shame to sand this down.....But the Mrs says i can't get another van to fix it to!

No need to sand it down….just dull the gloss so that the primer will adhere better. A fine scotch pad will do the trick.

For the effort of filling the sensor holes and getting them perfect, I’d be tempted to place sensors in them. You’ve then got the option of finding a second-hand loom and a 4k module for a relatively easy PDC Retrofit (OEM or aftermarket).

@paulfr Or just put a set of fake reverse sensors in it will be quicker and possibly look better than trying to fill the holes
This is what I did on the front when I could only find gloss black bumper inserts with holes for the sensors. You will need to paint them too though
