Hi. Trying to establish what size fuel tank I’ve got prior to virtual instrument cluster upgrade. Build sheet is silent on this. does anyone have access to ETKA if I PM my VIN please?

Thanks Deaky. I do have the build sheet but it doesn’t mention the tank size, which is odd. I’ve pm’d Pauly to see if he can help. :)

For 80 litre tank on T6 I would expect to see option code 0F5 on build sheet.
Thanks MMI. No such code on my sheet.

Am expecting 80L since it’s Eur5 and not a 4motion.

Don't worry too much, I initially thought i had an 80l on the Cali Ocean. So I set the virtual dash to 80. First time I filled up the meter read about ooh 7/8 full! Lol. Changed it in the config to 70 (default) and it read full. If your close to empty fill ups are around 65trs, then you know.

Because Im kind to my DPF I never let it go below 1/4, but I guess I can filled up from 1/4 and add a third.

I’m just surprised it’s not on my build sheet.

Sorry for the delay, had a look at your vin and all i can see is the tank fitted to your van comes up as part number 7E0 201 060 P

As mentioned above I think pre adblue all vans had an 80l tank then when the adblue tank was fitted the standard fuel tank was reduced to 70 and the option came up for an 80l tank ?

Thanks very much @Pauly ! The part number is listed as 80L on this database. Much appreciated.

I would expect that the VCDS would have the answer. When the tank is filled up mine reports 70 litres on the Instruments, and have seen raw data up to 72 litres. Haven't seen anywhere a mention about coding for the tank size so it could even be down to the actual sensor (??) to report correct fuel amount.

Unfortunately the data below doesn't specify into which tank?? they go. Or are different sender units needed for somehow differently configured van.

Also there are two different fuel delivery units.

I believe the raw data is in the Instruments: IDE00312 Fuel level from sensor 1.

Curious to hear what yours report on channel IDE00306 Fuel Level Sensor 1.
Mine (70 litre tank) shows 62 ohms.

Got chance to fill it up and measure those blocks. Definitely 80L.

And the answer to your question @mmi is 48 Ohms.

Thanks for the help all.
