Hi all- wondering if anyone is
Local to Bamburgh Castle… I’ve just arrived in my T6 4 hours away from home, and halfway up the A1 the engine light decided to come on.
Does anyone have a OBD reader up here that could run a quick scan for me to see what’s up?? Or know any VW specialists up here…

Any help appreciated.

Have you tried the members map for a location and see who has the kit then pm the person worth a go

An orange engine light alone is normally emissions related.

You should be ok to drive on.

There are a few car park down The Wynd towards the Golf course where vans park up for the night. Might be a long shot but there could be a few T6's in there who might have a scanner/reader

If your continuing north to bonnie scotland i can sort you out with diagnostic services . Chances are it will be a nox sensors or some sort of emmisisions issue. Usually what we find on the t6 if it hasn't had the vw remapp for ad blue

Thank you for your offer. I’ve headed back down to Lincolnshire now. It ran sweet on the way home too… ordered a Carista kit which should be arriving today so hopefully I’ll know more later on tonight

So, just for info really. Hooked up Carista, 2 fault codes came up; P20EE and P204F.

I did a bit of digging and it looks like it’s to do with the adblue? I’ve topped up the adblue and it rose from 3000 mile left to 5000 mile to go. So it’s registering something or other.

I’ve reset the codes and doing the trip up to Northumberland this Friday so hopefully it’ll never return!

Checked the DPF Reading too and that was at 12.5 so that’s a relief.

Cheers all.

Have you had the adblue update? I had that P20EE code when we first got the van and needed a software update

I haven’t personally. I’m in touch with the previous owner so I’ll check to see if he had it done. He had from new so possibly did. Will check
