Anyone Running A Lithium Battery Set-up?

I have also lined my battery box all of it with dodo extreme insulation just encase it drops past freezing but i can not see it !
If im in a cold area like that ill open the lid and keep it warm, dont see any down sides really, other than cost ! But i was doing this once and had it !

I think the Lifos is ‘equivalent’ to 120Ah, ie taking into account the greater depth of discharge. It’s actually 68Ah but the weight difference is phenomenal! I’ve been looking at maybe adding an extra battery and if they get these small enough to get two under the seat that would be the answer. The price is definitely heading in the right direction.

Yep
I had bought a 110ah lead leisure, postman went mad ! lol
Not sure but think it was 32kg ?? Not sure but big bugger
LifOS 7.8 !!!
I've tried to be mind full of weight and how is distributed during the build knowing it all goes t..ts up when i start packing bike paragliders and base kit in it.
7.8kg HUMMMMMMM
I can carry another set of base kit and still weigh less than the lead !

Winning !

The redarc bcdc will act as an mppt solar controller, so long as the voltage is between 9 & 32 volts.

I’ve just ordered the kit to swap out the lead acid to lithium. Hopefully I’ll be making a start at the weekend.
SuperB 90ah battery
VictronSmart solar controller
OptiMate mains charger
Sterling B2B 30A charger.

What could possibly go wrong:thumbsdown:
