Are T5 and T6 pop top roof the same

Hi All,

First post on any forum, so definitely a newbie.

I’ve had a bit of look around and it wouldn’t appear that this question has been asked.

I am wondering if anyone would know if a pop top roof off a T6 will fit on a T5. It would seem to be me that the general chassis on these cars is the same so I would guess there shouldn’t be a problem but thought I should check with the brilliant minds on this forum.

Can't reply for your Australian market, but here in UK when I was researching our pop top (for a long time), the only difference was between long and short wheelbase. No mention of only fitting one variant 5/6.

Only difference I experienced was the other way around. The arial fin on the cab roof of my T6.1 was higher than the PopTops fitter was expecting.

Ah yes, good point. the shark fin antenna on some can cause issues, need relocating.
