Audi A6 Seat upgrade

A really fun job.

Swapped the standard 2+1 set up for some A6 Audi S-Line seats.

Total cost was about £400, and considering the VW drivers seat will probably sell for £600+ it’s a great modification to make!

The THQ seat adapters made it a really simple job.

Thanks for sharing those pics. Does the heated seats work on the Audi units and if so, did you have to customise the wiring or have any ECU faults after?

So that is kinda out of my scope. I spoke to some pros I know and they’ve said it’s quite a difficult job. It does have the module and loom in the seats but not quite as simple as one might think.

They were such a good deal regardless if I ever get them hooked up properly.

Hi, wondering if you simply re-wired the airbags - I have just bought some S-Line seats and although the wiring colours match up the yellow plugs are a slightly different shape.

So I have just picked up the Audi TT TTS supersports seats for mine and the guy selling them added wires off the seat loom for the heated seats. It doesn't offer full temp control but 20amp 12v supply the the wires allows the heated seats to just be on or off with a toggle switch and then another 12v supply for the motorised lumber support
