Hi everyone,

Just finished doing a DIY audio install.

Hertz Millie pro 16.5 2 way 115rms
Hertz Millie rear coaxial 100rms
Hertz pro mpbx 250 s2 500rms
Kenwood 8021dabs

All powered by the audison amp, I’ve set the gains using ohms law, I just haven’t messed with anything else like crossover settings, subsonic or hpf,lpf etc.

Does anyone have a similar setup, just after an image showing the rough settings as a guide.

Ideally would like a pro to tune it somewhere in the west mids if anyone has some recommendations.

Hi Mark, we can set this up properly using our calibration equipment were about 1.5 hours from you.

Gains you method is properly close however ohms law strictly speaking doesn't work with amplifiers as it all depends on how good the signal is as to where the point of clipping will occur. You may find your above or below the threshold, but should be to far out with how you've done it.

As for crossovers the sub I would set at 80hz and the speakers in the front the same. The rears set around 150hz if there in the usual pods as you'll find below that the pods don't really have the air volume to achieve much. Also it's more guess work with the crossovers as it all depends on how good the resistor is we've used these amps a lot in the past using our calibration equipment and found no 2 amps are ever is in the position but again you can get fairly close.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss further

Cheers
