Australia: Heater motor flap housing and linkages

I've got the same problem as others have had with a broken linkage on the motor flap that sets the heater temp on my 2017 T6.
Been quoted $3300 buy VW dealer to replace these items and told dash needs to come out!!
Wondering if anyone knows a reputable VW specialist who might be able to give me another quote in Melbourne area?

There are many threads on this topic Jerry . VW Wollongong spare parts section quoted $95 for the replacement kit but the parts appear different to the replacement part Tony has .

has VW reengineered the original part?

Thanks for your offer. I’d love to know if these parts by VW are a improvement on the originals ( which Tony reproduced but much sturdier)
