Autoguard warranty - word or turd?

Our 2017 T6 should be ready in a couple of weeks. It comes with the retailers 6 month warranty but someone sensible on here suggested it might be a good idea to extend that. I've had a price for 1, 2 or 3 year extensions and it's not too bad. It's with Autoguard - anyone got any experience of trying to get work done through them? I had a look at trustpilot and it's a mixed bag.

I don't know anything about Autoguard but a lot of us T6Fers have got one of VWs own warranty plans which might be worth looking at to see if yours qualifies. Personally, I bought the VW All In Plan which is a combined 2 year warranty, AA Assist, service and MOT scheme and which I think could cover your incoming van as long as it's not been heavily modded and can pass the initial checks. Search 'VW All In' and you should find some info and comments on here. Thankfully, I've never had to claim under the warranty so can't comment any further.

Yeah, tbf that's what the chap that suggested getting an extended warranty said too. Best I have a look then - thanks!
I'm in the same boat. My auto guard warranty that came with my 2017 TSI expires next month. Which company did you go with in the end?
