Could someone explain how this works? I looked in the handbook, but none the wiser, really. If i scroll to Ave fuel consumption on the MFD, and press ok, does it start monitoring from then, or is that what its average has been since the last time it was pressed , or just from the start of the day? Ta.

Pressing ok changes the number in the corner from 1 to 2 and back again
When 1 is showing you are looking at your current trip (this resets when key has been turned off for 2 hours or more)
When 2 is showing you are looking at your historic trip data (this resets when you reset it)
If you scroll to trip mileage and/or time and change between 1 and 2 you will see the distance/time covered for each relevant data set

I'm averaging 29.9mpg. Quite shocking.

I'll give it the benefit of the doubt add I'm only 350 miles in on the new engine bigger rolling radius wheels etc.
Seem to be getting 60 miles to each major marker on the fuel gauge.

During warmer weather I was avg about 40! Now I have heater on all the while its around 38, which compared to my previous daily (gti), is awesome!

Mines similar, a couple of tankfuls i was getting 40 - 41 mpg ,although the last was 36. It seems to be doing about 3 mpg better than my previous 140 ps engined van, although iv'e already put 7 litres of adblue in it and its not done 3k yet, so any cost savings will be limited..

Lands end to Cardiff av mpg 25.9 !! Steady 70-80mph on an empty van hopefully this will improve

I average 36-49 MPG most days on a descent drive, but my historic MPG says 32MPG
Im happy with that, i was lucky to get 400 miles out of a tank of fuel in my old T5!

How........i cannot work it out. Does anyone drive above 50mph?
380 miles to a 70litre tank (60litre fill up).

Filled up on Friday, after doing 630 miles. I never fill up before 600. What are you lot doing to your vans? T32 Kombi, 140 DSG. 15k on the clock.

I get between 35 and 40 on short journeys in my was 140 kombi/camper conversion without kitchen unit ;), it's chipped as well and have noticed that now on runs and 8000 mile in will achieve 40mpg at 75/80mph, quite pleased really

It's a manual 204 4motion on 20's it's only done 650 miles so far so hoping it gets better. My Isuzu pickup was the same when I had it once it reached 15000 mpg was considerably better @Gadgets
