Awning options

So I’m looking at wind out awnings and getting confused by what’s possible on different combinations.

My goal is to have a wind out awning that also allows me to add sides etc and create a basic room.

I have a T6 LWB with pop top and a vamouse rail already fitted.

I was considering a F45s 300 and picking up the privacy room from the sales section, but from what I can tell I think I would need an add on 40 panel for the front. I’m also not sure how the depth would work as a 260 extends less than a 300… also, put off a bit by weight and size of privacy room.

The F43 was also an option but from what I can tell the privacy room for it only fits the swb version.

Any advice appreciated…

It seems upon more digging that a privacy room is available for the F43 300.

Think I will go with an F43 300 with rail mounts and a privacy room.

I have the privacy room 300 and it fits my 270 just fine.

Ife just checked the instructions, and dimension C, ie, the length of the sides, on the privacy room is 250cm.

It weights less than 5kg, not at all heavy.

It's your choice of course, but rhe F43 is a much nicer unit than the 45. It's more modern (the current version was only released last year), was designed for vans instead of small motorhomes, has compiste ends thstnwontncorrode, and has the lovely magnetic attachment for the crank and not the nasty hook and loop job.

I can only presume they make the privacy room in a deliberate intermediate size to fit both. Extension on the 270 and 300 is the same, so the sides are good.
