Awning Rail Leak?

Fitted an awning rail that sits under my roof bars last weekend and thought I’d test to see if it is leaking, seems dry at the front but when I pour water on the back part it leaks from here I assume it’s going through the hole and out here?

Anyone help on this? I don't want to rip it off if this is normal?

I pour water on to the rail it seems to make its way down to the picture shown which is right next the the spare wheel nut that's where it drips from.
I just want to know if the holes in the roof would make its way to this position? I know front would lead to a leak down the A pillar just wanted to know if the last 2 fixing points on the rear would drain here.

The water could be going from the gutter channel onto the rear door rubber and then running under into the bumper area as per your pic.

I would pour more water with the rear doors open and follow it

I tried again tonight and it seems that’s the case goes through the back of the light into the back of the bumper and seems to pool in some plastic covering.
