B Pillar Carpet

Has anyone used capet, (or anything else) to cover the internal b pillar or see any reason why it can't be done?

'B' pillar? That's the one in front of the sliding door and is already partly covered by the plastic mouldings. I always carpet trim the rear face with the moulding off and the door seal off so that they both clip over the carpet.

It is not an easy job but on my recent conversions I have trimmed the complete side from roof level 'D' pillar to 'B' pillar top to bottom of the left side with one piece of carpet, cutting and stretching as necessary. The only bit I shy away from with this one piece of carpet is the rear wheel arch which I cover with an extra layer of insulation any way. The right side I do similar but the kitchen fittings make this a much easier piece to fit.

Yes the pillar that the seat belt is on, looking to carpet the plastic trim but never seen it done.

No nor me. I can't see any good reason to cover the plastic as it's far easier to keep clean than carpet trim.

I got it of Amazon, had a few issues as the bit I ordered came folded up which damaged the vinyl surface, I had to get them to re send it on a roll. The company was ukfabricsonline but I cant see that they have any in stock at the moment. Make sure you get one that has some stretch in it.
