Bad earth?

Hi People.

I have just bought a 2015 transporter shuttle LWB. it looks like it has been fitted with an alarm, and an aftermarket stereo. There seems to be a problem with the interior lights, as when you open the doors the rear light all got out and only the front above the mirror are on. The footwell light come on just not the roof ones.
The only way to turn them off is by turning the front ones on. Have the rear ones bee wired wrong??

have you got a few pics of the rear lights and the front light unit?

and there any other extra switches that have been fitted somewhere?

There is a switch in the very back but other than that no.

Have you lost an earth connection?

That's what I'm thinking coz I've put normal bulbs in and there very dim.
Thinking of taking the head liner out and running wires from the front to the rear.
