Hi. I've been inspecting an issue with the barn door rear meachism on my 2018 Transporter. The plunging rod does nothing when pushed into the mechanism, leading me to think the meachnism is broken. The part number on this is 7E0827201R. I cannot find a spare for this, but there are variations that dont have the R at the end of the number, some are BA etc. Are these small variations likely to work?
