How have you fitted your ?
I've got one and its been sprayed but got no instructions ?

I've not got one but I have my eye on one for the near future. I'll bond it with sikaflex.

We always bond ours, the genuine VW ones are bolted too but leaves ugly holes on the underside of the barn doors. Been bonding them for years and no issues, just prep the surface correctly! Plus it gives you a bit more wiggle room to get them lined up perfectly!

Done properly bonding is stronger than a weld (not that you can weld a plastic spoiler, but you know what I mean)

Bonded mine on too, marked the edges with masking tape and just stuck it on. The body shop who sprayed it advised sticking it rather than bolting it

So after much advise I marked it out (although it only sat in one place anyway, I bonded it - good seal and gave it plenty of time to set properly.
Looks fine now
